Home Nations U18 Sevens head to Birmingham

Wales Women U18 have added two new names for this weekend’s Home Nations Sevens at Birmingham University (21st-22nd July).

Scarlets’ Ellie Morgan, who was part of the UK School Games silver-winning team last year, and Cardiff Blues’ Rosie Batchelor have been added to the squad which came third in the first round in Edinburgh recently.

Entry to the second and final leg of the competition at Birmingham University is free. 

Wales Women U18 Sevens: Ellie Morgan, Alex Callender, Rosie Batchelor (Cardiff Blues), Darcy Thomas, Hannah Powell, Lleucu George, Kenzie Tutton, Megan Davies, Niamh Terry (c), Lauren Smyth, Megan Webb, Celyn Lazenby. 

Day One, Birmingham:

10am – Wales v Ireland
10.22am – England v Scotland
12noon – Wales v Scotland
12.22pm – England v Ireland
3pm – Wales v England
3.22pm – Scotland v Ireland 
 
Day Two, Birmingham: 

10am – Semi-final 1 – 3rd place v 2nd place
10.22am – Semi-final 2 – 1st place v 4th place
12noon – 3rd/4th play-off
12.22pm – Final
