Beirne has since joined Munster back in his native Ireland, but signed off from Parc y Scarlets with two titles at the Guinness PRO14 awards night in Glasgow.
Joining him in the Dream Team for last season were Scarlets team mates Hadleigh Parkes, Rhys Patchell, Rob Evans and Aaron Shingler. The Scarlets also picked up the Specsavers Fair Play Award for a season in which they lost their title to Leinster in a thrilling final in Dublin.
Cardiff Blues flanker walked off with the new Guinness PRO14 Tackle Machine award at the end of his first season at the Arms Park club. Former Dragons No 8 Ed Jackson received the Chairman’s Award.
