Anscombe started last Saturday’s Test match at the Principality Stadium with Biggar starring off the bench.
Naturally the former Ospreys pivot is desperate to wear the number 10 shirt for Wales’ clash with Scotland in Edinburgh, but believes there is currently a good dynamic between him and Anscombe.
“There seems to be a good dynamic between the two of us and we are in a good spot,” said Biggar.
“Gareth is working the team around really well in those early stages. It can be easier coming off the bench sometimes when you have time to see things unfold.
“It is always harder starting games and Gareth has done a really good job in keeping us in games. We have always been leading or just one score behind when I have come on.
“It is great testament to him and he has had a really good start and we are complementing each other well at the moment.”
After winning their opening three games of the Championship, Wales are the only side still in contention for a 2019 Grand Slam.
But Biggar has warned his team-mates not to get carried away with two difficult challenges lying in wait against Scotland and Ireland respectively.
“We’re well aware that what counts is what you do over the entire season and we’ve got two tough games coming up away to Scotland and against Ireland back in Cardiff,” he said.
“So we’re in a great position, but we’re fully aware that one slip-up would probably mean we don’t win the Championship.
“I’m really happy to contribute, it was nice to get the win against England, and hopefully we can finish it off.
“We’re on a great run, but we know the next two games will present very difficult challenges.
“Winning has definitely become a habit now and even when we’re not at our best – like the first two games of the Championship and for parts of the England game when we weren’t at our absolute best – we manage to find a way to win.”
