The match will be a Paul James select XV against a Classic Lions side and will feature Wales legends such as Lee Byrne, Shane Williams, Allan Bateman, Adam Jones, Ryan Jones, Rowland Phillips, Dafydd James and a host of other international stars.
The game will be refereed by one of world rugby’s greatest referees Nigel Owens.
James called time on his rugby career last December at the age of 36 and won 66 caps for Wales after making his Test debut against Romania in 2003.
After launching his playing career with Neath he had two stints with the Ospreys while he also figured for English giants Bath.
“I’ve tapped up a few of my old mates and in fairness everyone who I have asked has been all over it,” said James.
“I think they are all looking forward to one more game together if I’m honest. We’ll have a laugh.
“The Classics have a very good squad and they play every year in Bermuda, so I presume they’re going to take it quite seriously. I just want my team to have a laugh.
“There will be a lot of boys who haven’t played for a good few years. Ryan Jones and Shane Williams are still fit.
“I’ll be team manager and coach so maybe I’ll run on and take some kicks or something.
“I’ve had a few testimonial events and dinners already and it’s great to have stage this game at the Gnoll which is a ground that’s very close to my heart.”
