Wales play Belgium, Ukraine and England on Day One and Hooper believes the squad has become a tight unit following the recent Home Nations tournament held at Swansea University.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for players at this age to pit themselves against the best in Europe.
“The likes of Beth Lewis, Manon Johnes and Lleucu George all played in this competition two years ago and have gone on to earn full international caps pretty quickly so it’s exciting to see the next crop of talented players coming through.”
Hannah Powell retains the captaincy from the Four Nations tournament.
“Hannah led the side well form the front in Swansea. We saw the quality of England there; Belgium and Ukraine will also provide a good challenge but we’ve trained well since the Home Nations, the girls have really grown as a squad and are looking forward to stepping up another level this weekend.
“Several of the girls will still be eligible for this tournament next year which is very encouraging for their future development.”
