The latest and penultimate round of voting over the past two days saw over 3500 of your votes cast in favour of Scott Gibbs’s wonder at Wembley in 1999 and Phil Bennett’s marvel at Murrayfield in 1977.
Astonishingly, only 121 votes separated Gibbs and Gareth Edwards’s 1972 try against the Scots, while Bennett was the runaway winner against a valiant Justin Tipuric from this year’s Guinness Six Nations.
Now voters have until 5pm on Tuesday (9th June) to decide which they would like to see crowned the Greatest Ever Welsh Try: Scott Gibbs ’99 or Phil Bennett ’77?
Watch the two tries before making your mind up.
