There are no further arrivals or departures from the Blues party which finished the last season although 15 players penned new contracts prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Seven planned announcements were delayed due to coronavirus, but Liam Belcher, Will Boyde, Lewis Jones, Kirby Myhill, Aled Summerhill, Jason Tovey and Lloyd Williams have all agreed new contracts to extend their stay at Cardiff Arms Park.
Blues head coach John Mulvihill said: “We’re delighted to finally announce these new contracts which were agreed before the pandemic.
“They are all incredibly important players in our group and a special mention for Lloyd who has now surpassed a decade at the club and remains a firm part of our long-term future.
“With so many players recommitting to the region early and a number of new signings announced, it is safe to say we are a settled, determined and committed bunch who will strive to find consistency in the coming season.
“It’s time now to set and demand standards in and around our environment and push on to consistently playing to our potential and earning success.”
The six young players to graduate from the Blues’ academy to senior contracts are Will Davies-King, Mason Grady, Iestyn Harris, Alun Lawrence, Max Llewellyn and Teddy Williams.
Youngsters Louie Hennessey-Booth, Harrison James and McKenzie Martin are all brought into the academy set-up.
They join Jacob Beetham, Theo Bevacqua, Gwilym Bradley and Nathan Evans who signed academy contracts during the 2019/20 campaign.
Mulvihill continued: “I’d like to congratulate the boys who have stepped up to join the senior squad and also our new academy intake.
“We have a very strong academy coaching group who continue to accelerate the development of our young players through our system.
“We are proud so many academy graduates play big roles in our match day 23 and you only have to look at our recent squad against the Ospreys to see the talent we are developing.
“They know the hard work so far is only the start of their journey and that they must continue to learn, work hard and be consistent in their pursuit of the Blue jersey.
“We are all really looking forward to seeing some of these boys step up in the coming season.”
