One of five Welsh internationals in the Bears starting XV, Powell capped her magnificent display with a chip and chase try that helped her side pick up a priceless bonus-point on the road. Jasmine Joyce was also on the scoresheet again with a brace of touchdowns, while Alisha Butchers also grabbed a corner try as the Bears hit Sale for six.

Former Wales centre Gemma Rowland enjoyed her 45 minutes on the field for Wasps against Durham Sharks as the home side ran out winners by 105-0. It was her fourth appearance of the season.
There was no joy for the trio of Welsh women in the Worcester Warriors pack at Exeter Chiefs, where their side came up short in a 19-7 defeat. As well as Carys Phillips, Alex Callender and Sioned Harries up front, the Warriors had Robyn Wilkins at No 10.
