After back-to-back victories over Ireland and Scotland, Wales’ next challenge is Eddie Jones’ England in Cardiff on Saturday.
The game will be played at an empty Principality Stadium due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, but Jenkins knows the importance of any game with the Red Rose.
Wales skills coach Jenkins said: “We understand what is going on in the world and we see it as a duty that we turn up and perform tomorrow.
“We are going to do our utmost to try and win the game. If we come out on the wrong side, it won’t be through a lack of effort.”

Jenkins added: “The boys will be emptying the tank tomorrow, as we all will, trying to make the nation proud of us.
“Any Wales-England game is huge. It’s what it’s all about. It’s a game like no other. As a Welsh fan it’s the one they say they want to win.
“I’ve been nervous all week – the stadium alone and the magnitude brings that, and excitement. I’ve no doubt it’s going to be a good Test match.”
