Wayne Pivac’s side started the Championship with a 21-16 win over Ireland at Principality Stadium and next up is a trip to Edinburgh.
Flanker Tipuric made a mammoth 29 tackles against Ireland and is wary of the threat posed by Scotland and Watson in particular.
“Obviously Scotland are favourites for the game and aiming to win the Six Nations. They’re playing at home and will want to continue their form,” Tipuric said.
“We know it’s going to be a tough game so we need to go up there and make sure we perform to the best of our ability.
“They’re absolute quality back-rowers. We know how tough a game it is. You know every breakdown, tackle and carry is going to be a tough one.”
Wales have lost several players to injury for the Scotland clash, but Tipuric believes Wayne Pivac’s squad have the strength in depth to cope.
“You know when you get a win even though it might not be the prettiest that you’ve still got a win and points on the leaderboard,” said the Ospreys flanker.
“We know what we need to improve on for the next game. One thing we’ve improved over the last couple of years is showing how good the squad is.
“Every time you want to win trophies, whether it’s the Six Nations or whatever, your squad plays a massive part.
“You always have injuries – it’s part of the game unfortunately – but it gives a chance to others to perform and they have to step up for the team to go on and win things.”
