Rees-Zammit has scored three tries in the three Championship games so far as Wayne Pivac’s side have sealed a Triple Crown.
The 20-year-old scored against Ireland in round one and notched an impressive brace in the win over Scotland in Edinburgh.
Rees-Zammit has now revealed he was gutted not to score against England.
“We’ve worked hard to get into this position and we’re really looking forward to this weekend,” he said.
“We’re a very tight group and we’ve been training really well for the past four weeks or so.
“We’re just taking each game at a time. We’re not thinking too far ahead.
“It’s all about momentum and obviously winning at home against Ireland and going up to Scotland and doing a job up there really helped us.
“We got the win against England as well so we’re in good stead for this weekend.
“We’ve got a big game ahead this week. We’re playing decent rugby at the moment so we’re looking forward to it. We trained three times this week just to tick over.
“It has been quite a chilled week.
“There is not too much pressure at all. We’re just trying to keep it all in our camp.”

Rees-Zammit has a total of four tries in seven caps for Wales so far. Only two years ago he was watching Wales as a fan at Principality Stadium.
“There are so many capped players in the back-line and they have helped me out massively both in attack and defence. This weekend will be a really good test,” he said.
“We know what Italy can bring. They like to control, but in attack we know what power we’ve got.
“The execution just needs to be on point.
“I remember being at the stadium two years ago and watching with my mum and dad. I was at the England game when Josh Adams scored in the corner and the Ireland game too.
“Two years ago I would never have thought this would be the situation I’d be in, but I am so I have to live in it and show everyone what I’m about.
“It has all come very fast and I’m loving it.”

Rees-Zammit continued: “When I get the ball in my hands, I’m always trying to create something and attack.
“I was absolutely devastated I didn’t score against England. As long as we get the win that’s all that matters, but I couldn’t sleep for two days afterwards.
“Every time I tried to fall asleep, I would think about that ball, how it didn’t bounce up for me, or how I tried to kick it.
“I know those moments are going to come a lot in my career and I’ve just got to move onto the next job.
