78 mins – TRY – WALES 27 SOUTH AFRICA 47 – Dafydd Jenkins claims Wales’ fourth try showing great strength to score. Joe Hawkins converts.

74 mins – TRY – WALES 20 SOUTH AFRICA 47 – Wales set up a driving lineout. There’s a lovely bit of handling which results in Ethan Fackrell scoring.

64 mins – TRY WALES 15 SOUTH AFRICA 47 – Joe Westwood claims Wales’ second try after a neat kick through by Josh Phillips. Joe Hawkins adds the extras.

61 mins – WALES 8 SOUTH AFRICA 47 – Lovely jinking run from Ethan James results in South Africa’s seventh try.

57 mins TRY – WALES 8 SOUTH AFRICA 40 – Suleiman Hartzenberg gathers a grubber kick to score.

56 mins – South Africa come close to scoring again but some tremendous defensive work from Wales keep them at bay.

51 mins – TRY –  WALES 8 SOUTH AFRICA 33 – Tiaan Lang completes his hat-trick as he powers over from short-range yet again.

46 mins – TRY – WALES 8 SOUTH AFRICA 26 – That could well be the try of the tournament! Dan Edwards takes a penalty quickly inside his own 22. This was serious high risk stuff but it goes through the hands before reaching Mason Grady who bursts through a tackle before running in unopposed from 35 metres out.

38 mins – YELLOW CARD – South Africa No 8 Louw Nel is sent to the sin bin for a dangerous clearout.

38 mins – Good defence from Wales with Nathan Evans winning a penalty at the breakdown.

35 mins – This is very frustrating. Wales are making far too many handling errors which is stifling any momentum.

28 mins – TRY – WALES 3 SOUTH AFRICA 26 – All too easy for South Africa as Tiaan Lange claims his second try with another score from short-range.

23 mins – TRY – WALES 3 SOUTH AFRICA 21 – That’s a well-worked try for the Junior Springboks with Suleiman Hartzenberg hitting a tremendous angle which cuts open the Wales defence.

20 mins – This is end to end stuff. Wales were putting the Springboks under pressure but the ball was turned over with South Africa attacking from deep. It ends up in a penalty to South Africa who now have a five metre lineout.

13 mins TRY – WALES 3 SOUTH AFRICA 14 – Replacement hooker Tiaan Lange powers over from short-range after a well-worked driving lineout. This is looking very ominous for Wales.

12 mins – YELLOW CARD – Wales prop Nathan Evans is sent to the sin bin for taking Lukhanyo Vokozela out in the air.

10 mins – WALES 3 SOUTH AFRICA 7 – Wales hit back immediately. South Africa are penalised for sealing off giving Joe Hawkins an opportunity to add three points which he takes.

7 mins – TRY WALES 0 SOUTH AFRCIA 7 – South Africa take a quick tap with No 8 Louw Nel powering over from short-range. The extras are also added.

7 mins – Huge pressure but Wales succeed in holding South Africa up over the line

6 mins- First bit of defensive work coming for Wales as South Africa have a lineout in the Welsh 22.

4 mins – Early Wales pressure comes to nothing.

Wales win an early penalty. Good start.
