Supporters can already access tickets for both matches through WRU member clubs and sales for the Championship-opening clash with the Irish and third round meeting with England at Principality Stadium have been strong.
But official supporters club members and debenture holders will now have first refusal, after member clubs, on tickets from Wednesday 28th September. Then, after two days’ grace, the hottest tickets in town will be made available directly to the public – if any remain.
The Welsh Rugby Union’s constitution ensures that member clubs are able to access tickets first meaning it is possible for all 74,500 Principality Stadium seats to be sold before they even reach public sale.
Becoming an official member here before the September 29th will give priority access to remaining tickets.

“Demand is as high as ever, with many categories already selling-out and tickets only set to reach public sale in limited amounts, if at all,” said WRU Group commercial and legal director Rhodri Lewis.
“Our advice to supporters is always to contact your local club in the first instance, but there are other things you can do to increase your chances of being able to get hold of a ticket to see Wales at this year’s Guinness Six Nations.
“Debenture holders are of course guaranteed access to all home matches but, once they and clubs have been given first right of refusal, official supporters club members have access to purchase up to two tickets for England or up to four tickets to the Ireland game.
“Supporters are encouraged to act as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment.”
The timeline for Guinness Six tickets reaching public sale coincides with Autumn Nations Series (ANS) tickets being on sale for the first time in recent history, meaning the Welsh Rugby Union is making close to half-a-million tickets available to watch Wales in Cardiff during the 2022/23 season, at once.
Wales face New Zealand, Georgia, Argentina and Australia in Cardiff during the autumn, following a record breaking year for the ANS in 2022 when the highest attendances were recorded since 2008.
A broad range of ticket prices are available across the season to cater for all supporters, with a family of four able to watch Wales face Georgia this November for as little as £30-per-family, for example, and the fact that top price tickets for the Guinness Six Nations Championship home matches have been the first to go shows just how high demand is to watch Wales.
Ticket prices for these Guinness Six Nations 2023 fixtures at Principality Stadium have risen in some categories, decreased in the Alcohol Free Zone (AFZ) and entry level tickets remain frozen at £40.
“All proceeds from Welsh international tickets are fed directly back into the game in Wales,” added Lewis.
“Whilst price increases have been necessary for some of our highest demand fixtures, we have also wanted to provide as wide a choice as possible of ticket prices and customer offerings across our full 2022/23 fixture list.”

Wales face both Ireland (2.15pm) and England (4.45pm) at home in next season’s Guinness Six Nations Championship, with each match awarded a Saturday afternoon kick-off time at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
05.02.22 – Ireland v Wales – Guinness Six Nations Championship
The men in red open the 2023 tournament hosting the Irish in round one on Saturday and then begin the weekend of fixtures in round four when they take on Italy in Rome for another 2.15pm kick-off.
Their second round visit to Scotland on the 11th February kicks-off at 4.45pm and England visit Cardiff on Saturday 25th February, beginning at 4.45pm.
Wales are on the road for the fourth (in Italy) and fifth-and-final rounds of the Championship, finishing off their campaign with a trip to France on Saturday 18th March, kicking off in the second game of super-Saturday, at 2.45pm.
Tickets are not expected to be available for public sale in all categories, with many of the top price tickets being snapped up first, but the full range of prices for the first round meeting with Ireland at Principality Stadium is £40, £80, £105, £110 and £120 and for the third round meeting with England in Cardiff prices also start at £40 and move through to £90, £115, £120 and £130. Alcohol Free Zone tickets have been priced even more competitively for all home matches at Principality Stadium in the season ahead with tickets in this area now available in category D for £80 (Ireland) or £90 (England).
