The former Parc Eirias venue has played host to the Wales U20 since 2012 and also welcomed the Welsh Women’s teams for a number of years. It was at the north Wales venue that Jason Strange’s class of 2016 won their only Grand Slam at U20 level to date.
As well as hosting Ireland, who completed their own Grand Slam last year and beat Wales 53-5 in their opening game in Cork, Wales will also welcome arch-rivals England to Stadiwm CSM in Round 3 on Friday, 24 February.
