Both teams are seeing their first win of the 2023 U20 Six Nations campaign. Wales have never finished bottom of the table since the tournament began in 2008 and must win to avoid that, along with a possible Wooden Spoon with a game in France to come to complete the championship.
As well as seven straight wins in Italy, the Welsh youngsters also beat Italy in the Six Nations Summer Series in Treviso to reach the final.
Wales are currently running at a 50% success rate from 2008-2023 in the U20 Six Nations. They have won 38 of their 79 matches to date over the 16 seasons, although they have managed only 9 wins in their last 28 games.
