The agreement will cover the two home matches at Principality Stadium, where Vodafone are already an Official Partner, against England and South Africa this summer ahead of the Rugby World Cup in France later this year.

Welcoming the increased partnership with the technology giant, Nigel Walker, WRU interim Group CEO said, “We are delighted to be announcing Vodafone as the naming partner for Wales’ two home matches in August.

“It’s going to be an epic summer of rugby that will see Wales take on England and current Rugby World Cup champions South Africa, and to have Vodafone onboard is a fantastic extension and next step in our partnership.

“Vodafone’s commitment to Welsh rugby since we announced them as Founding Principal Partners of Women and Girl’s rugby in Wales and Official Partner to Principality Stadium in September last year has been outstanding and we’re truly excited to see what the future holds.”

A new pricing categorisation trial for Principality Stadium will see a larger volume of lower priced tickets available to supporters with the existing five price categories reduced to three; and the 50% reduction for U17s introduced for the Autumn Nations Series will be applicable across both Vodafone Summer Series games.

The opening game against England on Saturday 5th August, which is priced at £80, £60 and £40, can be accessed for £40, £30 and £20 for children (U17s).
For the South Africa match, on Saturday 19th August supporters can attend for £60, £40 or £20, with U17s pricing therefore at £30, £20 and £10.

Tickets for the Vodafone Summer Series go on public sale from Wednesday 19th April at WRU.WALES/TICKETS, however to get in quick we recommend visiting your local rugby club where tickets are available now.

“The best place to buy international tickets is always from your local rugby club and the Vodafone Summer Series, where we are expecting high demand for two huge games, is no different,” added Walker.
