The Welsh Rugby Union can confirm second row Gwen Crabb has ruptured the ACL in her knee and requires surgery and will not play again this season.
Crabb, 23, sustained the knee injury in Wales’ 31-5 win against Ireland in front of a then record home crowd in the TikTok Six Nations opening game at Cardiff Arms Park.
The Wales Women’s senior medical staff and S&C team will oversee Crabb’s rehabilitation and return to play programme.
