The Welsh Rugby Union can confirm second row Gwen Crabb has been released from the Wales Women’s Six Nations squad to return to her club Gloucester-Hartpury to continue her return to play programme.
Crabb, 24, sustained a knee injury playing against Exeter Chiefs on March 2nd and has undergone minor keyhole surgery and will continue her rehabilitation with her club.
The 29-times capped Welsh international was named in the 37-strong Wales Six Nations squad at the beginning of March and will not be replaced.
