Wales’ senior men and senior women both face England at the Cardiff capital ground during their respective competitions with Wales Women expecting a record crowd on their debut meeting with the auld enemy at the venue on Saturday, 29th March.
Both of the men’s matches, against Ireland (Saturday, 22nd February) and England (Saturday 15th March), are expected to sell-out quickly and Wales Women’s meeting with Ireland, now confirmed for Rodney Parade in Newport, should also reach its 8,700-capacity based on last season’s consecutive record home crowds in the competition.
Fans eager to secure tickets to the action which go on public sale tomorrow morning (Friday) from 10am can take advantage of limited early bird prices to watch both of the senior women’s home fixtures.
To watch Wales Women take on England at Principality Stadium early bird prices are from CAT A (Middle Tier) £15 Adults and £7.50 U18s, CAT B (Lower Tier) £10 Adult and £5 U18s, and to watch the Ireland game in Newport (Saturday 20th April) tickets are £10 Adults and £5 U18s for both seated and the terrace.
Coveted CAT A and CAT D tickets to watch Wales senior men’s side against England are now sold out; therefore remaining tickets are available from £80 Adults and £40 U18s at a 50% concession. Tickets are also in high demand for the fixture against Ireland with less than 500 tickets left in CAT D before even reaching public sale. Fans can snap up the remaining CAT D tickets for £60 with all other tickets available from £80 Adults and £40 U18s
WRU CEO Abi Tierney said: “Principality Stadium is the home of Welsh rugby, seeing the women’s senior side run out last year against Italy was phenomenal.
“It’s an ambitious move for Wales Women to face England at Principality Stadium, but with the level of support the fans show this team, we’re confident we can beat our home attendance record.
“Returning to Rodney Parade after such a striking debut win over Australia in the WXV warm-up earlier this month will be a huge boost too.
“We’ve got two tough fixtures for Wales men, but a great opportunity to test ourselves in the most exciting competition in the Northern hemisphere.
“The Guinness Six Nations brings such a sense of occasion. Rugby fans descend on Cardiff from across the globe – all with a mutual love and passion for the game; and, with two huge, eagerly anticipated matches fans will get to see Wales face the world’s very best teams on home turf. It doesn’t get much better than that.”
