Wales prove to be just the ticket as Six Nations clash with England sells out

Wales taking on England at Principality Stadium has lost none of its appeal with the senior men’s 2025 Guinness Six Nations clash in March now sold-out and Wales Women, who debut this fixture at the venue later the same month, selling faster than ever before.

Wales Men’s final round clash with their nearest neighbours and, traditionally, biggest rivals on 15th March sold-out today (Friday) within 5 hours of going on public sale and the Wales Women clash on 29th March has broken ticket sales records, with over a 1,000 sold in the same time period.

The 74,000 capacity Principality Stadium is also expected to be full to its rafters for Ireland’s visit in round three of the flagship men’s competition, with only a few thousand tickets remaining, starting at £40 for U18 concessions and £80 adults.

Wales Women are targeting a new record crowd after setting their latest home record attendance during last year’s Championship when a 10,592-strong crowd watched their 22-20 win over Italy at Principality Stadium.

The other home fixture in the competition for Wales Women is at Rodney Parade which should also reach its 8,700-capacity based on the rising demand seen for home matches in the competition.

There are three other opportunities to watch international rugby at Principality Stadium this season with Fiji, Australia and South Africa all visiting in the Autumn Nations Series this November and tickets remain available for these matches starting at £10 concession and £20 adults.

“Demand is as high as it has ever been to watch Wales take on England at Principality Stadium Cardiff,” said WRU CEO Abi Tierney.

“The fixture normally comes about just once every two years, but we have a double treat in store this season with both our men’s and women’s teams facing England at Principality Stadium in their respective Guinness Six Nations campaigns.

“We always knew this first England game would sell-out, but we have all been impressed by the level of demand across all of Wales’ home fixtures for both our international teams.”

If fans wish to make the day extra special, Principality Stadium Experience hospitality can still be purchased for the two home games, England and Ireland, information and packages can be booked at wru.wales/vip.

“For the Wales Women’s side, it is something of a leap of faith to go from playing at smaller capacity venues to playing more regularly at Principality Stadium” adds Abi. “But there is so much potential with a loyal fan base and a nation which loves its rugby, this team has the potential to quickly capture the imagination of the whole country.”

To watch Wales Women take on England at Principality Stadium early bird prices are from CAT A (Middle Tier) £15 Adults and £7.50 U18s, CAT B (Lower Tier) £10 Adult and £5 U18s, and to watch the Ireland game in Newport (Saturday 20th April) tickets are £10 Adults and £5 U18s for both seated and the terrace.
