The Ospreys flanker is one of four changes to the side that started against Fiji for Sunday’s third showdown of the year against Australia. He starts in the back row alongside the returning James Botham and Aaron Wainwright.
The two changes behind the scrum are both enforced through injury, with Tom Rogers taking over on the right wing from Mason Grady and Ellis Bevan coming in at scrum half for Tomos Williams.
“We were obviously a bit gutted and disappointed with the result against Fiji, but the mood in the camp is good. We’ve been working hard towards this weekend,” said Morgan, who came off the bench.
“There were a lot of moments in the match when we played well, and we just need to keep on doing more of what we’ve done. International rugby is an 80-minute game, and you can’t afford to switch off.
“There have been loads of games that have been close where we could have had the win. We can definitely turn it around – it’s down to momentum and getting a bit of luck.
“As long as we stick together anything can happen. A win and maybe a bit of confidence can come back in.
“A lot of boys played in the game against Australia at the World Cup last year and we can take confidence from that. They’re a great outfit, had a great win last weekend against England and so we need to be on it for 80 minutes.
“I feel ready, I feel excited. There is pressure every week at this level, whether you’re winning or losing, and we want to win and have success as a team – we never go out to lose, we go out to win and make everyone proud.”
