Since making his Ospreys debut in 2021, Morgan has made 43 appearances for the club since his debut in the 2021/22 season. He has also won 17 caps for Wales during that time.
After bursting onto the international stage, Morgan was also announced as a co-captain for Wales for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, alongside fellow Osprey Dewi Lake, and takes over the captaincy of his country from the injured Lake for the upcoming Six Nations.
“There’s not much I can say about Jac that has not been said already. He is one of the most consistent and dedicated performers I have worked with, and that translates from the way he trains to how he conducts himself on game days,” said Ospreys head coach Mark Jones.
“We’re absolutely delighted that he has chosen to extend his stay with us. He exemplifies the values and spirit of the Ospreys jersey, and his leadership qualities are second to none.
“His commitment to improving every day rubs off on our young squad and we’re all excited by what lies ahead for the club with Jac as captain.”
Speaking on his new deal, Morgan said: “I’m excited to continue my journey with the Ospreys – a club that has always felt like home to me ever since I first pulled on the jersey.
“With the players and staff we have in the building, as well as the move to St Helen’s next year, it’s an exciting time to be part of this club.
“I’ve loved playing for the Ospreys and feel I’ve improved as a player since joining here. I want to continue that progress by getting better every day and contributing in whatever way I can in getting this club to where it needs to be.”
