The visit marks the beginning of a series of cultural and sporting events in celebration of ‘Wales and Japan 2025’, highlighting the strong ties between the two countries.
The partnership between Wales and Japan continues to thrive, with both nations sharing a deep bond forged through the exciting and competitive matches of the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan and the ambassador’s visit to the iconic stadium further cements the friendship and mutual respect between the two rugby-loving nations. Wales senior men’s team is due to visit Japan this summer with full details to be announced in due course.

His Excellency, the Japanese Ambassador to the United Kingdom, said:
