Season 26/27 sees the development of the U18’s girls community game evolves into area based teams to support a greater player experience, player retention and sustainable competition.
Aligned with WRU One Wales Strategy, in growing number of players aged 6-14 and retaining playing aged 15- 18. The U18’s game, requires an evolution to support consistent playing opportunities.
Girls Hubs will merge to create area based teams e.g Bae Dolphins, Teifi Timberwolves and Wiberod to form U18’s Ceredigion .
The Girls U18’s Area Hub programme is for all community players not involved in WRU’s performance pathway (inclusive of Welsh Schools and Colleges (WSC), PDC U18s, Wales U18’s). This will provide consistent and competitive playing opportunities as playing numbers grow across the country. Please see sign up form for further information on eligibility throughout the season.
