The Welsh All Blacks travel to the Brewery Field for the clash with last season’s runners up who are struggling to produce the same form as they languish at the wrong end of the table following a poor start to the season behind them.
Neath went top thanks to ABERAVON’s surprise defeat at Ebbw Vale last week so the Wizards will be eager to get back to winning ways at LLANELLI. Llanelli have struggled so far this term with only two wins in six but three points this weekend could fire them up the table and be the kick-start their season needs.
At Rodney Parade third-placed NEWPORT take on visiting LLANDOVERY with three points a must to keep the pressure on leaders Neath. The Drovers lost to Cardiff last time out but will take heart from Newport ‘s defeat at the hands of Swansea last Saturday.
SWANSEA make the trip to Eugene Cross Park to take on an EBBW VALE outfit riding high following last weekend’s dramatic 25-27 victory over Aberavon. The All Whites also won last time out, dispatching Newport 33-13, and will be hoping to notch a fourth win of the season.
At the Arms Park CARDIFF play host to travelling CROSS KEYS with the teams level on points after three wins out of six this season. Cardiff are a place above the Keys thanks to a better scoring record but Saturday’s meeting promises to be a close-fought encounter.
PONTYPRIDD entertain BEDWAS at Sardis Road having made a useful start to the season and with eyes on the top three. Ponty will be eager to make amends for last weekend’s comprehensive 39-6 defeat at the hands of Cross Keys. Bedwas meanwhile will look for a win to build on their 19-13 win over Glamorgan Wanderers last time out.
Basement-dwellers MAESTEG and GLAMORGAN WANDERERS go head to head with the sides level on points in the table with two wins each. Both sides lost last time out and Saturday’s clash promises to be fiercely contested.
