Lloyd Hayden (Tonmawr RFC) – received a red card against Carmarthen Quins on November 10th. Having studied the case and match official’s report, the red card was deemed sufficient and no further period of suspension deemed necessary. Mr Hayden is free to play the Game and the red card will remain on his record.
The results of a Welsh Rugby Union Disciplinary Sub Committee meeting held at the Millennium Stadium on Tuesday 21st November, 2006:
R Godwyn (Rhydyfelin RFC): 4 week suspension for punching against Nantymoel on 28th October. Mr Godwyn may resume playing on December 19th 2006.
Regulatory Committee issue:
Blaina RFC, Laugharne RFC, Resolven RFCÂ – failure to play fixtures in this season’s Konica Minolta Cup against Pwllheli, Aberystwyth and Carmarthen Quins respectively.
a) In accordance with Rule 16 (Disqualification) of the rules of the Konica Minolta Cup Competition, each of the clubs will be barred from entering the Competition next season (2006-2007) and the sum of £500 will be deducted from each of the clubs’ core grant for 2006-2007 season.
b) In accordance with Rule 19c of the rules of the Konica Minolta Cup Competition, the sum of £100 will be deducted from each of the clubs’ core grant for this season and the £100 will be paid by the Union’s Finance Department to the opposition clubs by way of compensation.
