Despite the return to Wales of Stephen Jones and Dwayne Peel, Scarlets Director of Rugby Davies has selected Davies and Priestland for the nine and ten shirts respectively.
Nathan Brew makes his first appearance for the Scarlets this season, starting from the bench after recovering from a long-term injury.
“Leinster will be a tough side to beat and they are well coached”, said Davies. “The Showground is a fantastic surface to play rugby on so we are certainly looking forward to the game.”
The Scarlets have claimed two wins and suffered two defeats in their opening four matches this season. Last week’s 34-11 win over Connacht left the outfit in second place in the table.
Leinster have won their opening two matches, defeating the Blues 30-19 last week after beating Edinburgh 23-8 in their opener. Should they win again, they will equal the Blues’ league record of 17 successive home wins.
All eight previous meetings between the sides have gone with home advantage, and the Scarlets have lost seven of their last eight games on the road.
