The citing arose from the Magners League match between Llanelli Scarlets and Cardiff Blues at Stradey Park on Friday, March 21st.
Robert Williams, the Citing commissioner for the match, lodged the citing against the Llanelli Scarlets player for an alleged dangerous charge of an opponent without the ball, including shouldering.
The Disciplinary Committee found the case against Mr Manu proven and determined the offence was at the lower end of the scale of sanctions featured in the Union’s Disciplinary Sanctions 2007-2008 and suspended Mr Manu for two (2) weeks. Mr Manu may resume playing on April 9th, 2008.
