“We felt we could have got more out of the game. If we can pick up on some of the tactical areas then I think we can get closer to these sides,” said Jones.
“Beating one fo the southern hemisphere sides will take us to the net level. We have to move on and the next game has to be out priority.” Wales coach Warren Gatland said: “I was reasonably happy for 40 minutes. But they were able to keep up the intensity and put us under pressure for the full 80 minutes. They are clearly the best team in the world and we’ve got a lot to learn.
“We were really proud of that first half effort but we weren’t able to keep it up. We will only get better by playing the best in the world.
“We can improve the number of penalties we gave away, the set piece can improve and if what can learn what the All Blacks do, we will improve and develop. “
