Dragons Chief Executive Gethin Jenkins has remained in France with the player and today Australian-born 32-year-old Marc was joined by his partner at the Purpan Hospital in Toulouse.
“Marc has had an operation to stabilise his neck following damage to a disc and a crack in a bone. The operation has gone well and he has movement in his arms and legs,” said Jenkins.
“He will now undergo further tests before a decision will be taken on when he will be retuned home to Wales.
“Dragons staff will remain with him, along with his partner, Tazmin, who flew out to Toulouse today (Sunday).
“Our main priority is his long term well being and we are grateful to the hospital staff, along with those at the Toulouse club, for their professionalism and support.
“Marc is in good spirits and we hope to have him back in Wales as soon as possible. No further statements will be issued until the results of the on-going tests are known.”
