The former European Cup champions are setting the pace in the French Super 14 and have proved unbeatable over recent months having gone unbeaten in their last 11 matches.
The Dragons put up a spirited display against Toulouse at Rodney Parade last weekend before the French outfit pulled away to record a 26-7 victory.
Former Welsh second row Adam Jones returns to the fray after surgery on both his shoulder and knee.
“I can’t wait to get back out there playing again and improve on the form that I enjoyed with the team before my injury,” said Jones. “This is a must-win situation against one of the best teams in Europe.”
With Jones’s return, the impressive Hoani MacDonald has been moved to the side of the scrum at blindside flanker.
Dragons coach Paul Turner has made a number of changes to the backline with Jason Tovey, Rory Sidey, Ashley Smith, Tal Selley and Shaun Connor all coming in.
Dragons: J Tovey; G Wyatt, R Sidey, A Smith, T Selley; S Connor, W Evans; A Black, T Willis (capt), R Thomas, A Jones, L Charteris, H MacDonald, C Charvis, J Bearman.
Replacements: S Jones, G Robinson, D Lydiate, J Ringer, R Lewis, R Davies, P Dollman.
