Experienced Waterloo prop Jenny Davies has been recalled to the Wales Women’s side which faces Scotland at Burnbrae on Sunday in the Six Nations championship (KO 2pm).
The loosehead prop, who will earn her 47th cap against the Scots, comes in for Bath Ladies’ Caryl Thomas who moves to the bench.
Both sides are seeking their first win in the tournament after Wales lost narrowly to England at Cross Keys last weekend while Scotland suffered a heavy defeat to France.
While Scotland have made seven changes to their starting line-up, Wales head coach Kris de Scossa has given his young team a vote of confidence and kept his changes to a minimum.
“We’re viewing this Six Nations as a platform to move forward and this is the first stage in putting those building blocks into place. We’re sticking with the squad which gave such a solid performance against England and we will re-look at the extended after the Scotland game.”
