James Loxton (Cardiff Blues), Craig Hawkins, Adam Powell (both Llanelli), Gareth McCarthy, Ross Davies and Euros Evans (all Neath) represented the invitational side who battled back from a half-time deficit to take the hours at the final whistle.

It was the second victory of the season for the famous club side following their 45 v 36 triumph over Richmond a week earlier.

The Barbarians travel to Cardiff on Saturday June 4 to face Wales in a game which will celebrate the 130th anniversary of the Welsh Rugby Union.

Neath duo McCarthy and Evans starred in the victory, McCarthy having more than a helping hand in two of the tries while second-row Euros Evans capped a fine display with a try of his own.
