Hosted by the Rydal Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay the event was an opportunity for North Wales Under 16s coaches to identify players who might be suitable to join their regional squad next season.
Whilst the Exiles narrowly lost their matches, secretary Terwyn Williams was delighted with the performance: ” We deliberately selected a very young squad and it was no surprise that the boys struggled physically, ” he said.
“However, their commitment and attitude was outstanding. They were all a huge credit to the Exiles structure and will benefit greatly from this experience,” he added.
The Exiles now take a well deserved summer break after a very successful season. Details of next seasons regional assessment centres for 13 to 17 year olds will be published on this page soon.
