Scrum half Wayne Evans has returned from a shoulder injury picked up in the pre-season friendly against Russia to take a place in the squad and Martyn Thomas returns after recovering from the second of two broken legs which have kept him out of league action for several months.
Lewis Evans (calf) and Jamie Smith (back) are being rested for the match.
“Both Lewis and Jamie are ok but we don’t want to play anyone who isn’t 100% fit,” said Dragons Head Coach Darren Edwards.
“There’s a great deal of competition in the squad and I’m confident that players who have been given an opportunity this weekend will put in strong performances.”
