The popular stadium tour with a unique Christmas twist has attracted a host of international rugby players and their families as Santa Claus and his reindeers come to town.
Wales and Ospreys superstar Ryan Jones, Wales record try scorer Shane Williams and former hooker Garin Jenkins and their children enjoyed a mince pie and some carol singing together last night before they experienced the unique Santa Tour.
With the Santa Claus Tours running daily until Christmas Eve at the home of Welsh sport, many more Welsh greats are expected to join in the festive fun at the stadium’s winter wonderland, which is recommended by Wales and British &Irish Lions back rower Ryan Jones.
“Christmas is my favourite time of the year,” said Ryan. “It’s all about spending time with the people we love and sharing the magic of Christmas Day with our children.
“The Millennium Stadium tours gather all the excitement and tradition of Christmas time and make a great festive day out for all the family.
“When Wales played Australia just 10days ago, I had no idea that Rudolph and the other reindeers were on their way to Cardiff and that the stadium staff will leave the roof open on Christmas Eve so that Santa can touchdown and restock his sleigh before heading off around Wales and the rest of the world.
“The stadium looks completely different at Christmas. My family have enjoyed a wonderfully festive time and I’d recommend Santa Claus Tours for anyone, like me, that can’t wait until December 25 to start celebrating Christmas with their children.”
Santa Claus Tours have already made the Christmas wish list for over 1,300 primary school children and lots of families across South Wales.
