Following the postponement of their game at Cardiff last week, Neath are hoping to get back into action at Pandy Park against Cross Keys on Saturday (kick off 2.30pm).

The Welsh All Blacks welcome back flanker Lee Evans after suspension and coach Patrick Horgan said, “We had a good win at Pontypool last time out and were disappointed not to have the chance to carry on the good work at Cardiff last week when only one Premiership game went ahead.

“Hopefully the weather will relent and we have prepared for a hard slog on what will undoubtedly be a muddy pitch. As Llanelli found to their cost recently, Pandy Park is a difficult venue and Keys have perfected a style of play to suit.

“We lost up there in the British & Irish Cup before Christmas when we were already out of the running and nothing went right on the day. We are better than that and will need to show it on Saturday.

“Gradually our selection options are increasing as players begin to return from injury and we are looking forward to the challenge.”
