With two Premiership ties to be played, Ponty know that two straight wins will see them finish top of the table for a second year running. The significant challenge is to secure those wins away to Swansea and at home to Llandovery.
Ponty currently occupy fourth position, with a game in hand over the clubs above them, whilst Swansea lie back in ninth place, the encounter with Pontypridd being the final act of their campaign.
The two clubs have already met twice this season with Ponty enjoying home advantage on both occasions having won the British and Irish Cup tie back in November by 39-17, and the Premiership tie at the beginning of April by 52-19.
Going from game to game twice weekly with barely a training session in between, Pontypridd again rotate selection to keep players fresh, with six changes in personnel and an additional positional change to the starting line up from their home win against Carmarthen on Wednesday evening.
