The home of Welsh sport will come alive with song when Wales take on the Baa-Baas for the annual summer clash and nearly three hundred of the nation’s biggest fans have expressed their enthusiasm via the official WRU Facebook page.
The 1,000 choristers from male voice choirs throughout Wales will galvanize the crowd at the final match on home soil before Wales leave for their summer tour of Australia, as announced by the WRU earlier this week.
Almost 300 fans have taken to Facebook to ‘Like’ the official announcement to show their passion and excitement for the medley of songs which will be revealed ahead of the greatest rugby occasion of the summer.
The songs will include the all-time Welsh rugby favourites as well as a special set to honour the countries represented by the players in the Barbarian line-up.
“The choirs were in great voice last year, as I am sure they will be this; we’ve got our tickets,” said WRU Facebook friend Chris Brownfield on the day the news was announced.
“Fab to hear that, can’t wait, tickets have arrived,” added fellow Facebook follower Sharon Price.
Tickets are still available for fans that have not secured their place at the big Millennium Stadium game. They can be purchased from the WRU website starting at £25 for adults and £10 for under 16s. Tickets are also available by calling the ticket hotline 08442 777 888 or Ticketline on 02920 230130.
