There was joy for Bryncoch as well as they also claimed a bonus point, the home team beating visitors Neath Athletic 25-15. Kicking proved the decisive factor after both teams scored a try each in the game between Trebanos and Mumbles as the home side ran out 16-8 victors.
Cwmavon enjoyed a thrilling away trip to Bryncethin as the vistors went home victorious after winning 35-30, securing a bonus point along the way.
Alltwen and Cwmgwrach shared the tries and the points as the match finished 23-23. Banwen and Glais’ match also finshed as a draw with both teams scoring 25 points each, with the away side claiming four tries to Banwen’s three.
However, the result was far more convincing as Llangadog welcomed Penybanc with the away side running rampant with eight tries. The game finished 73-5.
