Pontypridd head coach Dale McIntosh will deliver a session focusing solely on the contact area which forms part of a series of coaching clinics taking place across the Blues region.
Coaches from across the area will have the chance to learn from former Ponty No. 8 McIntosh who will give guidance on how best to coach the skills needed by players in the contact area.
These will include after the tackle, specific skills around the contact area and body positioning.
The session starts at 7.00pm with refreshments available before at 6.45pm. The event is open to any coaches of clubs aged 15 and over in the Blues region.
“It’s great to have such an experienced former player and coach as Dale McIntosh to deliver this session,” said WRU Coach Development Officer for the Blues Region Jon Evans.
“It’s vital to make sure coaches across the Blues region can come to these events and see how coaches such as Dale go about their business.
“They can only benefit from the experience and I would encourage anyone who is interested to come along.”
