The Drovers, coached by former Wizard Lyndon Lewis, have made the perfect start to their season having won all of their league games with a bonus point. In their six games so far this season, the Drovers have outscored their opposition by 29 tries to 11 and will be a constant danger to the Aberavon defence.
In the British & Irish Cup, Llandovery have won both of their games, beating English side Nottingham 28-21 at Church Bank before winning 29-14 at Melrose last Saturday. In contrast, the Wizards have really struggled this season and are second from bottom in the Premiership and without a win in the British and Irish Cup.
At home this season the Wizards have won one from three whilst Llandovery have maintained their perfect record even when away fro Church Bank.
Taking on the league leaders, Aberavon face a difficult task though the Drovers will be missing their main danger Rhodri Williams. The scrum-half is out with a dead leg and is replaced by Lee Philip Rees. He partners James Garland at fly-half for Saturday’s game.
