Boosted by their first away win of the season at Cross Keys last weekend, Bedwas make three changes for their clash with the league leaders.

James Richards starts at lock in place of Phil Rees who moves to the bench. Similarly, Josh Davies starts at scrum-half in place of Tom Rowlands who will be looking to make an impact as a replacement. Ryan Owen returns from injury to take his place on the right wing in place of Rory Budina.

Llandovery may have lost their 100 per cent win record last week, drawing away to Aberavon, but Bedwas forwards coach Ian Gardner is expecting another tough fixture.

“This will be another hard game against unbeaten Llandovery,” he said.

“We built up a healthy lead last week and then fronted up well to defend that lead before gaining a valuable win.

“We are expecting much the same this week and are looking forward to the challenge’ he said.

The Drovers may be league leaders but Bedwas have won four of their last five meetings with Lyndon Lewis’ side and will go into the game full of confidence.

Despite last week’s draw with the Wizards, Llandovery still lead the Premiership, two points clear of their opponents tomorrow.

They welcome back scrum-half and star man Rhodri Williams following an injury and will be looking to get back to winning ways.
