Rumney have already claimed the Blues BA Division of the Youth League and are on for a rare quadruple of titles as they are still in contention for the Cardiff & Vale Youth District Cup and East District Cup and as winners of the BA Division, they go into the end of season play-offs to determine the National Youth League Champion.
Rumney had to withstand a couple of close encounters en route to the final, just holding off Caerphilly 20-13 in the second round while scraping past Dulais Valley 20-17 in the quarter-finals.
Crymych took the game to Rumney in the semi-finals where the lead changed hands on numerous occasions. A penalty from Jake Hillman and heroic defence by Rumney earned them passage into the final with a hard earned 23-20 victory.
The Plate final between Burry Port and Penarth is tough to predict as both teams are evenly matched.
Burry Port travelled to Llandeilo in the first round and prevailed 30-20 and then went on to defeat Gwernyfed (27-19) and Trebanos (19-27).
Gilfach Goch pushed Burry Port in the semi-final and at halftime the game could have gone either way but west Walians dominated the second half to clinch place in final for second consecutive season after losing in the Bowl Final last season to Newport HSOB.
Penarth will be hoping to repeat the resolve they showed in the semi-final when they edged out Llandaff 21-20 in a nail-biter. Penarth trailed 20-6 at half time but an inspired second half comeback saw them progress to final.
In the Bowl final, Bridgend Athletic 2nds will have their work cut out to prevent Treorchy from lifting the title.
After a bye in the first round Treorchy crushed Ystrad Rhondda 53-3 in the second round before receiving another bye in the next round. They were just as convincing in the quarter-finals, brushing aside Aberaeron 41-0 and then beating Llandovery 10-7 in the semi-finals to kept their unbeaten streak in the league and cup intact.
