Wallabies lock Adam Coleman is relishing the chance of facing the 110 times capped Wales international when the two countries lock horns in Cardiff.
“Unfortunately he (Alun Wyn) wasn’t playing last year when we faced Wales,” said Coleman.
“I watched him on the Lions tour and he played very well. I am sure he will shore up the Welsh forward pack.
“One of the things I enjoy the most about international rugby is you get to play some of the best players in your position from any country.”
Wales have fallen to defeat in their previous 12 encounters against Saturday’s opponents and have not tasted victory against the Wallabies since 2008.
But Coleman is expecting a stern examination by Warren Gatland’s side.
“The Welsh are a class outfit, they’ve got threats from one to 15 and they can attack you from anywhere,” said Coleman.
“They are a very physical side with a physical pack of forwards and we know they will try and take us on up-front and in the set-piece area, but we will be up for it.
“I think they are going to come at us with a high line in defence so we will have to make sure we are on top of our attack to mitigate that.
“You can’t shy away from their rush defence, you’ve got to be hard and direct and play footie from there.”
