Cymoedd – unbeaten this season with a perfect record of seven wins from seven games – sit at the competition’s summit with 34 points.
It means they are six points clear of Neath Port Talbot College in second place ahead of their short trip to local rivals Whitchurch High School this week.
The clash is a top against bottom fixture and Whitchurch, who have won just once so far this term, will be huge underdogs despite being on home soil.
Elsewhere in Wednesday’s fixtures, Newport High School cost Coleg Llandrillo while Neath Port Talbot are away to Coleg Gwent.
Neath Port Talbot will head east down the M4 knowing victory is essential if they are to maintain in the hunt for silverware.
They might be second, but Ysgol Glantaf are level on points in third and Jamie Roberts’ former school aren’t giving up hope of silverware.
Gower College also host Llandovery College while Cardiff and Vale College are at home to Bridgend College.
