The WRU Funding Search Tool offers clubs the opportunity to access a free to use grant search facility and allows users to filter through the huge number of grants and loans available to them.
These include grants which support and enhance sporting and community activities, enhance sport development and provide sports equipment and facilities.
Club secretaries will be able to access the information via the current mywru website. From there, it’s just a matter of searching for the funding available in your area. There are no restrictions on how often you can access the site and search for funding with the site continually updated as soon as grants become available and application deadlines are nearing.
“The WRU’s new Funding Search Tool allows clubs to easily access and explore all the funding options available to them,” said WRU Head of Compliance Julie Paterson.
“We remain committed to identifying and offering a wide variety of grants to clubs across Wales and this new system is another support mechanism, working alongside out Club Operations Team, for those Clubs looking to make use of them.”
“We have had a great deal of success already this year with a number of clubs taking advantage of the grants schemes that are on offer, both through the WRU and external funders. Hopefully that will only improve with the launch of this new system.”
