Following the victory of their Under 18s side at the same venue earlier this month, a win for the Scarlets in the WRU Regional Final would be a huge success.
The Scarlets finished one point behind leaders Blues South having won seven and lost three of their games in the competition so far.
But with the two best sides in tomorrow night’s final, it promises to be a free flowing, attacking encounter.
“We’re happy with how the side are playing at the moment,” said Scarlets Under 16 head coach Kevin George.
“It’s been a while since we’ve done the double but we expect a good group of players to come through from our current sides.
“They started OK this season but have grown as a team and developed a good brand of attractive, high scoring rugby.”
With a number of players from both regions involved with the Welsh Schools Under 16 squad, there will be some interesting direct match ups between players competing for places in the national side.
“The Blues have a big and powerful pack and it should be an entertaining game,” added George.
“There are a lot of direct match ups, especially in the front row, back row and centres. A lot of the boys have trained together for a while with Wales Under 16s.
“There is going to be a lot of competition but the big thing for us is giving the players the experience of playing in a final and playing under pressure.”
Blues Performance Manager Richard Hodges added: “Having the Under 16s reaching the final is a great testament to the hard work everyone has put in and shows how well they are coming through.
“Eleven of the boys starting on Wednesday are in the Welsh Schools Under 16 squad.
“It’s great having so many players involved at national level and shows that the structure is working within the region.
“They will go to Wellington in England to play in an international tournament at Easter which is something we are all looking forward to.”
