Pulling no punches at home to Aberavon Quins, Cwmllynfell crossed over a staggering eighteen times to storm to a 116-25 victory and keep their title hopes alive with three games to go.
Also playing on home turf, Tondu were frustrated by Kidwelly as a successful day with the tee from the visitors’ outside half Gareth Rees and points from captain Steff Evans led the way to a narrow 23-22 victory.
Tondu still remain in pole position to finish top of the division but this leaves it all to play for in the remaining weeks of the season.
Kenfig Hill centre Marc Fitzgerlad crossed for a hat trick of tries to give his side a 45-31 bonus point win away at Ammanford, while scrum half Scott Maynard converted his two tries to help Carmarthen Athletic edge past Glynneath 25-22.
Crymych enjoyed their eighth win on the trot in Division 2 West as they sent Seven Sisters home empty handed. This bonus point victory helps the second placed side on their quest to catch current leaders Builth Wells while Felinfoel maintained pressure of their own from third place with a convincing 46-29 away win at Maesteg Quins.
In Division 3 West, Newcastle Emlyn secured their grip on second place thanks to a comfortable 59-24 win at home to Pontyberem.
