Each of Wales’ 305 member/district clubs and regions has been asked to nominate their most deserving volunteer to be rewarded with a package of tickets for themselves and a small group of friends and/or family for Wales’ final summer fixture before the Rugby World Cup.
Principality, who have sponsored the Welsh Premiership division for 10 years and first became a partner to the WRU in 2001 when they took over title sponsorship of the national cup competition, is taking the step to reward volunteers at the very heart of the community game in Wales as part of their ongoing support of Welsh rugby.
Group Chief Executive of the Principality Building Society, Graeme Yorston, said:
“As our title sponsorship of the Principality Premiership enters its eleventh year, we want to mark our continued commitment to grassroots rugby by giving something back to the volunteers who work so hard within the clubs at all levels within Wales and are integral to the success of the game,” said Graeme Yorston, Principality Building Society group chief executive.
“This is a chance for us to say thank you to those volunteers who have made an outstanding contribution to their club, and we are delighted to be able to offer them the opportunity to cheer on the national team in the home of Welsh rugby.”
CLICK HERE or go to www.wru.co.uk/volunteerreward to nominate volunteers who have made an outstanding contribution to your club or region.
One volunteer per club will receive up to 10 tickets to see the game.
